Airport Transfers

We at Birdie Golf Tours will be at your service. We are proud to have been appointed by the AFRICAGIS2005 Local Organizing Committee and will provide transfers between Johannesburg International Airport and the official Conference Hotels in Tshwane (formerly known as Pretoria).

Please look out for the AFRICAGIS2005 logo at Johannesburg International Airport Domestic and International terminals to arrange your transfer.

The transfer cost is R150 per person (approximately US$ 25) per trip and is payable at the airport.

Daily Transfers to Conference

We will have buses available to take delegates to the CSIR, conference venue, from the official conference hotels.

The buses leave at 7am and return after the last session of the day. See draft programme.

The bus transfer cost is US $ 50 (approximately R300) per person. This cost includes five daily transfers to and from the CSIR Conference Centre and a transfer to the Gala Dinner.

The amount of US $ 50 is payable with registration for the conference. Transfers will be available for delegates who want to register from Sunday 30 October 2005.

Please indicate your need for daily transfers in Table C of the registration form.

Alternatively, each hotel has a shuttle service. Please note that these services are at extra cost ranging from R70 per day and do not include a transfer to the Gala Dinner.
